Why this site exists

Most online tools have drifted a long way from being tools. You arrive to compress one image and find a sign-up wall, a daily limit, a watermark, a queue, and a paid tier that unlocks the setting you actually needed. The task takes ten seconds; everything around it takes five minutes.

This site is the opposite arrangement. Open a page, use the tool, close the tab. No account exists to create. Nothing is metered.

How the file tools work

Every image and document tool here runs inside your browser using the Canvas API and WebAssembly. When you drop in a photo or a PDF, it is read from your disk into memory, processed, and handed straight back to you. No network request is made and no copy is stored anywhere.

This is not a policy you have to trust — it is a technical fact you can verify. Open your browser's network tab while you compress an image and you will see no upload. Or disconnect from the internet after the page loads: the tools keep working.

It also means there is no file-size limit, no queue and no waiting on an upload. The only ceiling is your own device's memory.

How the site is funded

The tools are free and the site carries advertising. Ads sit below the tools rather than above or inside them, because an ad that delays or obstructs the thing you came for is a bad trade for everyone.

There are no subscriptions and no paid tiers — every tool is complete, and nothing is locked. If a tool saved you time, you'll find a small donate button: contributions help cover hosting and fund new tools. It is entirely optional, and the tools will always keep their defining property: nothing leaves your device.
